A good season of twist, turns, injuries, dedication, hustle,frustration & Team work that turned into a great season. These young men proved to themselves that you don't have to be the fastest, biggest, strongest you just have to do things better than your opponent. Finishing a disappointing 7th Seed we now had to go on the road. Labeled by the team as the 2006 Road Kill Tour. We started in #2 seed Rockaway & came away with a close 2-1 win lead by a great team effort and great pitching from AJ. Next was up to #3 seed Mount Olive where we battled to a 6-3 victory with some great defense from Chris & a great pitching performance from Jeff. We than had to go to #1 seed Basking Ridge whom only gave up 22 runs in 12 games & we had to change things up to be better than them, needless to say these young men overcame every obsticale that was in their way that day, from the weather, poor sportsmanship & a poor field. They battled & won 11-10 in 8 innings. Congrats gentlemen. BE PROUD !!!!
