In 2008 the Red Sox Majors were Ypsilanti American Little League champions! The Red Sox dominated in 2008 to become back to back YALL champions. Through out the course of the season the Red Sox lost only one game in YALL competition. The team finished the season with 13 wins, 1 lost and 1 tie. At the beginning of the season Coach Mike Von Volen knew he had a great group of young men. He told his team at their first practice of the season that they were going to repeat as YALL champions if they played smart baseball. And that is exactly what the Red Sox did... The 2009 season will present many challenges for the Red Sox. But with a strong returning cast of last year's roster the Red Sox will be striving to become back to back to back YALL champions!!!! Go get 'em Red Sox!
