A group of twelve teens and a handful of adults ran or walked across the Golden Gate Bridge today. It was a nice cool, foggy morning--perfect running weather. Congrats to all those who have never run or even walked across the Golden Gate Bridge. You are the envy of those who have never made the journey. For many of us, we come back each year to recognize the annual Avon Breast Cancer walk that takes place the same morning. Coach probably had the record today for the most "high-5s". Other firsts included probably the longest runs ever by many of you--some ran the full round-trip of the bridge which is 1.80 miles each way--for a total of 3.60 miles. Others extended their run down to Chrissy Field and the Fort below--for a total of 7.40 miles!!
