Iceland, Summer 2006: 24-hour daylight meant there was plenty of time to enjoy the sights! Highlights included Jokulsarlon, a glacial lagoon filled with hundred of icebergs, Gullfoss, the "Golden Falls," a magnificent, two-tiered waterfall, and Thingveller National Park, site of the world's oldest parliament and the rift between the North American and European tectonic plates. Best viewed at 1024 x 768.
